Mylne Bridge House guest house is a corporate hotel member of WADAA with permits for all fisheries available to our guests entirely free of charge.

WADAA waters provide private club fly fishing on a range of two rivers and six splendid,
picturesque upland lakes and tarns including Ghyll Head and High Newton for both
rainbow and brown trout, with stock fish in the range of 1.5 -
To avoid disappointment, it is important that we are told at the time of booking your stay at Mylne Bridge House that you wish to take advantage of the angling facilities.
Please note that permits can only be issued on production of a valid rod licence.
Jim is a keen fly fisherman and an association official who appreciates the needs of anglers away from home waters.
Abundant local knowledge, maps and fly patterns together with a full selection of fly fishing tackle is available if you forget or break something or need to hire. It may be possible if you have never fly fished before that Jim can accompany you and provide basic tuition to get you started. Flask filling is available by arrangement together with catch freezer and tackle store.

Windermere Pike Fishing
We are pleased to be associated with the South Lakeland Boat Angling Centre. If you want to try and catch some of the huge specimen Lake Windermere pike, this is probably the best way to go about it! At little more cost than hiring an angling boat for the day, and offering a dawn to dusk skippered boat angling experience, providing
the best opportunity at the right location, your chances of catching the fish of a lifetime are much improved.
Tackle and baits can be provided or bring your own. Fully insured and qualified, experienced skipper.
