Take M6 motorway until junction 36 and then follow A590/A591 for Kendal and Windermere.
By-
Take the A66 towards Keswick, by pass the town, and take the Windermere A591 turn. Follow signs for Windermere and Ambleside until you reach Ambleside, then follow signs for A591 Windermere. Follow the A591 for 3 miles, go straight across the mini roundabout (junction of the A591/A592), then drive a further 1/2 mile towards Windermere town centre. Take the second right after the church into the village. Drive down through the town centre. After the last shop on the left take the third road on the left, Brook Road. Turn right at the junction, Mylne Bridge House is the second entrance on the left.
Follow A590 eastbound through Ulverston to Newby Bridge and then turn left for Windermere just after the Newby Bridge Hotel. Follow the road to Bowness, and then follow signs for Windermere town centre. Turn right at the Baddeley Clock Memorial. Mylne Bridge House is 300 yards on the right.
Take the M6 motorway southbound until junction 40 at Penrith and then follow signs
for A66 Keswick and West Cumberland. Half a mile out of Penrith, turn left at Stainton
roundabout, following signs for A592 Ullswater and Windermere. Follow the A592 along
the side of Ullswater Lake, over Kirkstone Pass and on to Windermere. At the mini-

Take M1, A1M, or other appropriate road to Leeds. Take the M62 westbound to junction
15 and then turn onto M61 northbound for its entire length. Then turn onto M6 northbound
to junction 36. Follow A590/A591 for Kendal and Windermere. By-
By Road from North Yorkshire, York, Harrogate and Skipton:
Take M1, A1M, or other appropriate road to Leeds. Take the M62 westbound to junction
15 and then turn onto M61 northbound for its entire length. Then turn onto M6 northbound

Take A69 road to Carlisle. Join M6 southbound
at junction 43, and head for junction 40 at Penrith. Follow signs for A66 Keswick
for half a mile, then turn left at Stainton roundabout, following signs for A592
Ullswater and Windermere. Follow the A592 along the side of Ullswater Lake, over
Kirkstone Pass and on to Windermere. At the mini roundabout turn left onto the A591
then drive a further 1/2 mile towards Windermere town centre. Take the second right
